Reality Shifting With A Coffee: 7 Signs You Jumped Timelines

Why with a coffee? Because I want this to feel normal and chill; something to enjoy and look forward to. Like my morning coffee.

I’m into reality creation. It’s like, life design. There’s a deep truth I can feel in it. Consciousness is tricky to pinpoint, but energy is real and we’re interfacing with something quantum.

Deep, I know.

But understanding this concept of reality shifting helps me explore and create better. Puts me in the director’s chair.

Whether I’m manifesting creative visions or exploring a new country, I’m constantly switching timelines and shifting reality. So the goal here is to boost the intention and become more like a movie director.

(our life is the movie, btw)

This post shares how to shift realities and the biggest signs that you’re jumping timelines--because it’s what happening to me right now…

Let’s get to it then.

    What Is Reality Shifting?

Reality shifting is moving your conscious awareness and identity from your present reality to a new, more desirable one.

This can help you manifest a new life and pursue important dreams. Magic or not, I just see it as another tool to design your ideal life.

    But Is It Real?

It depends on who you ask. It also depends on what you believe…if you believe it’s real, then it is; if you don’t, then it’s not.

Maybe that’s an annoying answer though…

Personally, I think it’s totally real. I mean, it makes way more sense to me than anything else.

The universe, reality…it’s full of unknowns and we’re experiencing such a tiny sliver of it.

    Still, belief matters.

Our perceptions shape how we experience life. And what we think and feel to be true often manifests itself at some point and in some way.

The mechanics of how that happens doesn’t really matter to me. It just…happens. Like if you focus on a certain thing, that thing somehow finds its way into your orbit.

The simple fact remains, if you decide to change your habits and experience new things, your timeline will change.

But that’s not even woo, it’s just cause and effect.

Jumping Timelines: How to Shift Your Reality

    First, Shift Internally

Reality is a mirror and it lags behind. So before we change anything externally, we first gotta shift internally.

The world around you will catch up (eventually).

If you struggle with your old identity, it can help to create an alter ego here.

    Decide + Play the Role

    Decisions are portals.

The moment you decide to hop on a different timeline (by acting and thinking in a different way), you’re instantly shifting your reality.

All you need to do now is accept that new role and play it out.

And decide to do something differently, something you wouldn’t normally do or done in a new way.

And you don’t need to be perfect.

If you stumble, doubt or fall into old patterns, just recognize it and accept it. Don’t try to suppress or shame yourself for it. We’re still human, that’s not changing. Some habits or things might come with you to the new timeline, that’s normal.

    Curate What You Can

Internally shifting is powerful, but we still live in a physical reality. So let’s do what we can with it.

Put yourself in new environments, meet new people, go to new places and do new things.

Act as if you’re in the desired timelines. And believe it. Feel it. Accept it as normal, almost boring.

Stay Chill + Don’t Be Perfect

Sometimes, patience sucks, but it’s critical.

When you look for proof that your reality shifted, you’re just putting yourself back in the old timeline. Because if you had truly shifted, you wouldn’t be looking for the change, you’d just be living it, accepting it as normal.

    That’s the paradox.

When you truly accept it and live it, own it, stop looking for evidence or waiting for it, that’s when it happens.

Also, don’t try to be perfect.

Shifting realities is a process and old thought patterns, habits and emotions may come with you.

But what does change (we talk about this in the next section more) is your reaction to them.

    7 Signs You’re Jumped Timelines

    New Friends / Old Friends

Old friends or acquaintances might suddenly fall away. And new relationships might suddenly fall into your lap.

Or, the relationship dynamics might shift.

Like, you might find yourself suddenly claiming your boundaries and taking space, with confidence.

Not accepting anyone who treats you in a way that isn’t acceptable.

This is what happened with me recently. It was unexpected and almost difficult, but exciting.

    Tiny Habit Changes

As you shift timelines, new habits might come and old ones might weaken.

Maybe you start going for walks, or meditating, or cooking. Maybe you find quitting old habits easier.

Whatever the case, you’ll realize you’re in between timelines when the way you act throughout the day starts changing.

Tiny new habits emerge and old ones start to die. This is exciting.

    You Act On Your Dreams

The dream, the vision—it’s probably the theme of your new timeline.

And finally acting on those plans is a big sign you’ve shifted timelines (it’s connected to new habits forming too, obviously lol).

Your new timeline requires the type of person who spends time working on their dreams and goals (rather than, you know, just planning and overthinking them—no shade, we’ve all been there lol).

You find yourself actually working on your creative visions or projects. Accepting the slow ugly first steps and really enjoying the process.

This was one of the biggest shifts that happened for me.

You Look + Carry Yourself Different

Maybe it’s because I’m less stressed and sleeping lighter. And making healthier choices because I feel happier.

But I look different. I swear it.

Whatever the case, I find myself looking in the mirror wondering why I look different, in a better way. Maybe I’m the only one who notices, but that’s all that matters anyways.

Also, you might notice you carry yourself differently. Maybe you stand taller, have better posture, walk different. Something’s changed.

    You Stop Looking for Proof

The moment you stop looking for proof or needing (genuinely) is the moment you truly shift.

This one is hard. I’ve tricked myself into believing this, but deep down, I know I was still waiting and searching for evidence.

But when I truly focused on being the new me and acting on my creative work, that’s when I really stopped paying attention or looking for proof. That’s when things really started to shift.

Don’t be too hard on yourself though. This is one of the hardest things to get good at.

    You React Differently

Shifting timelines doesn’t necessarily mean all your old habits, thoughts and triggers completely disappear overnight. A lot of them come with you.

But your reaction to them does change.

You let things go quicker and easier. And negative emotions or habits don’t impact you the same way. And if they do, it’s shorter and lighter.

The more you do this, the quieter they get. And over time, they can fade away evolve completely.

    Reality Starts Changing A Bit

Finally, eventually, things will start happening in your life, almost like echoes of who you’ve been acting like and becoming.

Signals can be quiet too. And a lot of times, surprising. Like a random email or a sudden unexpected surge in traffic on an old blog (←that’s what happened to me).

Just remember that reality shifting can feel slow. Internally, you’re the new person. You’re acting out your new role and you feel different. But everything around you looks the same.

Stay the course. Trust the process.

Follow your intuition and if it’s aligned and feels right, double down on it.

Reality shifting is a big part of living a No Compass life. And if you wanna dig deeper, check out my post on the power of the mind next.

Alright, that’s all I’ve got for you here. Lemme know how your reality shifting is going in the comments!
